    1994 September

    Participated in the General Assembly of the United Nations as the representative of Nepal. Addressed assembly's two Special Political and Decolonization Committee, and Social Committee on Sustainable Development and International Economic Co-operation to Developing Countries, New York, USA.

    2002 & 2004

    Participated in International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) held respectively in Thailand and China.

    2004 December

    Visited Peoples' Republic of China accompanying the President and former Prime Minister of Nepal Rt. Hon. GP Koirala, on the invitation of CPC.

    2005 September

    Led a delegation in the Annual Conference of Labour Party in Brighten Wood, UK.

    2006 May

    Accompanied Prime Minister of Nepal as his Foreign Affairs Advisor during PM's one week long state visit to India.

    2006 October 8-19

    Visited People's Republic of China as the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister and met with leaders of CPC and high ranking Officials of Chinese Government.

    Contribution to Peace Process

    2006 July26 & August 1

    Led a team composed of three Nepal Army Generals in order to interact with Maoist PLAs to build confidence. The PLA was represented by Chairman Prachanda and Dr. Babu Ram Bhattrai and their two PLA Commanders. The meetings took place in Hotel Ambassador and Hotel Summit, and were organized with a view to lessening the mistrust and enhancing confidence between NA and PLA.   

    2006 August 9

    Assisted head of the Government of Nepal and the head of the rebel Maoists to prepare an identical invitation letter for the United Nations to help Nepal's Peace Process.
